Monday-Only Classes: This Portland
Campus format allows students the opportunity to dedicate one day
a week to class while maintaining a regular work or ministry schedule.
Classes for this day are typically offered mid-morning (10 am -
noon), early afternoon (1 - 3 pm), late afternoon (3 - 5 pm) and
at night (6 - 10 pm).
Advantage: This format allows
for reduced travel time to campus without losing the weekly class
interaction.
Evening Classes: On the Portland
campus, these classes are held on Monday (6 - 10 pm) and Thursday
evenings (6 - 8 pm). Many of our Master of Divinity students find
this schedule to be particularly helpful as it is designed to help
them complete their degree in 4 years.
Advantage: This format allows
for reduced travel time to campus without losing the weekly class
interaction.
Intensive Classes: These classes
are typically offered during summer terms with several exceptions
to be found throughout the year, particularly between the Fall and
Spring terms. Classes are structured anywhere from 2-4 days, 1 week,
over 3 weeks, or even over 6 weeks.
Advantage: This format allows
for reduced travel time to campus without losing the weekly class
interaction.
