Hybrid Study Classes: These regionally-based
classes enable students to complete a distance education course
with one or two live-extended class meetings (approximately 10 hours
per 2 credits). In select areas, the professor comes to a local
site to teach for a portion of the distance class. Classes typically
meet for one full day and a partial second day. (Note: Hybrids do
not earn residential credits. To learn more about hybrids contact
the enrollment office.)
Advantage: This format has
a blend of both the distance education format and direct face-to-face
interaction.
