Pastoral Care to Women Specialization:
This track is designed for women who see their
ministry vocation in an area of specialized ministry to women. The
student will develop skill in leadership, biblical teaching, program
planning and shepherding women. This program prepares students to
serve in leadership roles in church, parachurch or compassionate
ministries to women.
Youth Ministry Specialization:
This program focuses your training on the foundational
elements of youth ministry needed to have a successful long-term
youth ministry. Special attention is given to equip you to understand
youth culture in order to communicate the gospel in a relevant manner.
We also strive to help you understand how to develop disciples who
will faithfully follow Jesus into their college and adult years.
Children and Youth at Risk:
Every city in North America and throughout the
world has a growing population of homeless youth. Most of the global
crises are impacted by such things as child soldiers and gangs,
child prostitution, child indentured servants, and child refugees
in addition to homelessness. If you are currently working with or
feel drawn to ministry with children or youth in crisis this program
is crafted for you. The program brings counseling skills, international
children at risk specialists, and intercultural skills to bear on
helping equip you for this important ministry.
