Chaplaincy Specialization:
If you are called to serve as a chaplain in a
hospital, the emergency services, a corporate setting or the military,
you will need a foundation in biblical truth and training in ministry
skills critical for a chaplain's duties. Western will also work
with you to include specialized third-party training as part of
your graduate program. Western has a proud heritage of training
chaplains and would love to help you prepare for that noble calling.
Church Planting:
As the Church intersects with an increasingly
diverse global population, new churches are needed to minister to
new types of congregations. The church planting specialization prepares
you to bring your God-given vision of a church to life as a thriving
congregation, by way of training in cultural exegesis, demographic
research, networking and church planting assessment.
Evangelism and Equipping Specialization:
If you are looking for direct and focused training
in reaching the lost with the gospel while also developing ministry
skills to deepen authentic faith in Christ's followers, than the
Evangelism and Equipping track is an ideal choice. This specialization
provides a wide range of elective options giving you great opportunity
to customize your training.
