One essential component to your education is
the proper program. Any seminary you are looking at must have the
program you wish to pursue.
For example, if you are looking into missions,
do they have an Intercultural Studies program or World Ministry
program? In addition to the proper program, you can also dig deeper
to discover some distinctives of the schools you are researching.

Here are some good questions:
How are their programs structured?
How much elective room do you have and what electives are
offered?
Does the school give you room to personalize your degree
to your calling?
Are you required to do internships? What does that look like?
What are the required classes the school feels you should
take before graduating?
What options exist outside of class for further study (ex.
Independent Studies, Individualized Studies, Distance Learning,
etc.)?
Is there expertise on campus for the concentration you wish
to specialize in?
