Purpose and Outcome

The Graduate Studies Certificate in Youth and Family Ministry seeks to develop skilled youth ministry practitioners with a solid biblical and theological foundation. Hence, instruction will be provided by youth ministry practitioners familiar with both biblical and field-tested perspectives.

“Being involved in youth ministry is a demanding assignment-- The need to learn and grow is essential.  The GSC provides a more focused alternative to in-service training opportunities such as youth ministry conferences.  The classes offered through this concentration will allow you to interact with a veteran youth pastor as well as youth ministry practitioners.  You will get feedback, challenging you to think more deeply about key aspects of youth ministry.”

Ron Marrs, Assistant Professor of Youth
and Family Ministry
